Leftovers from 2007

So, I don't have any new art for 2008, but these are 2 watercolors I did from my trip to London last summer.
Watercolor is not my friend, but a portable medium to use while on vacation.
While in London, we went to the Tate Britain Museum which had a special exhibit of JW Turner. I was most inspired by his watercolor paintings, hopefully enough that I'll keep playing with watercolors more often :)

Tortuga Island

Another, old commission. The client wanted a fairly realistic image, and the island should be reminiscent of a turtle. Can you tell?
I took the gig because the pay would have been decent if they had ever paid me... oh well.

My first post! I thought I'd start with some freelance illustrations I've done in the past. These were for AEG, Legend of the Five Rings cards. I took the commission because Samurai are cool.
